Population & Social Statistics
This section contains the population data of the Sharjah Emirate, based on the results of the population census of 2015. In addition to the population data estimates in 2013 and 2014. The demographic number of the population is affected by three main factors: the number of births, the number of deaths, and migration data. For this reason, the DSCD periodically collects data on births and deaths based on certain characteristics, including age, gender, and nationality. The data also includes marriage contracts and registered divorce cases obtained from the records of Sharjah Medical District and Sharjah courts.
